Ingredients:
10g shaved antelope horn (羚羊丝), 10g mai dong (麦冬), 4 pcs deng xin cao (灯心草)

Uses:
Clear heatiness, relief common cold, reduce high fever, alleviate headache and cough, soothen throat inflammation, detox.
In traditional Chinese medicine, antelope's horn is associated with the Liver and Heart meridians, and has salty and cold properties. Its main functions are to pacify the liver, to clear heat, and to release toxins. Antelope's horn is used to treat a variety of conditions, including high fevers, eye problems (including red eyes and blurred vision), and headaches. It is often mixed with other herbs and substances to create larger formulas.
Instruction:
1)Add in pre-mix shaved antelope horn drink into a pot, add 700ml water and bring to boil.
2) If prefer a sweeter taste, add in sugared winter melon strips (冬瓜条).
3)Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 mins
4) Drink when warm. Able to produce 2 cups of Ling Yang Drink.
Tip: If using slow cooker, double boil all ingredients for 1 hour with 700ml water.
Note: If you have a double boiler, it is best to double boil for 1 hour. Since this is a TCM drink, please leave a two hours interval between the fever medication and the ling yang drink. You can also serve this cooling ling yang drink for 'non-fever' personnel, once a week to reduce the heatiness of the body.
