Meik Wiking knows happiness better than anyone. As the founder and CEO of the world ’s only happiness research institution, he travels the world and interviews the happiest people in the world to discover the key factors of happiness.
In The Key to Happiness, Meek explores hidden treasures that can increase your happiness and divides them into six components of happiness; solidarity, money, health, kindness, trust, and freedom. For each happy neighborhood, he offers practical advice: For reunions, he encourages building a mini library in your apartment building, or launching a tool sharing project on your street; for goodwill, he recommends unfamiliar Leave a surprise gift on a person's doorstep to help a tourist find their way, or tell someone who is important to you that they are doing it.
This practical guide draws on the original research of social sciences, case studies, and Meck, and shows us that you can find happiness in a simple lifestyle. When Meek travels the world to discover the secrets of the happiest people in the world, this book tells us that no matter where you are, you can be just as happy.
This book is a perfect guide to teach you how to survive and navigate the modern world with a smile.
