The maximum lens shift of 75% enables big screen projection at an extremely close range. This means that a range of long throw projector applications can be replaced, doing away with extensive installation work such as long cabling, installation complications and also reducing overall cost. This is only possible due to shortened projector-to-screen distance without compromise to projected image size.
The WUX500ST features HDBaseT reception function. HDBaseT provides connectivity for transmission of uncompressed high-definition (HD) video, audio and control signals over long distances, up to 100 meters, via terminals such as HDMI or RS-232C.
Canon’s 4-corner keystone correction function adjusts all four corners of the screen individually to produce a vivid projection with every inch in focus and a deep depth of field, even when projected from a diagonal direction. In addition, Canon’s image engine minimises areas with decreased resolution and moiré, projecting beautiful images even when applying 4-corner keystone adjustment. Together with the projector’s constant F.no 2.7 lens, image sharpness is ensured from corner to corner throughout its entire projection distance.
Enjoy superior image quality and versatile connections with the XEED WUX500 compact installation projector weighing only 5.6Kg. It delivers bright, detailed, high-resolution images from both computer and video-based sources, with easy to read text and smooth graphics thanks to the native WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution, which also supports Full HD.
Canon’s AISYS optical system delivers a powerful 5000 lumens brightness and a contrast ratio of 2000:1 for clear images, even in high ambient light levels. The 1.8x zoom lens has a constant F2.8 aperture, so the brightness is virtually unchanged regardless of zoom setting.
The LCOS (Liquid Crystal On Silicon) panels work in combination with the AISYS system to create outstandingly smooth, seamless images with vivid, accurate colours, which are free from the unwanted 'lattice' and 'rainbow' effects that are often seen with other panel technologies.
A range of advanced features gives you effortless flexibility and control over imaging. Built-in edge blending and registration adjustment let you seamlessly blend images from multiple projectors, while four-point keystone correction helps keep your image sharp and precise even when projecting at an angle. Picture-by-picture allows projection from two digital sources (or one digital and one analogue) ideal for video conferencing.
The projector’s Canon quality 1.8x zoom lens delivers precise geometry, sharp focus and accuracy and is equipped with powered vertical and horizontal lens shift for superior installation flexibility.
Project still and moving images from a wide range of sources using an extensive choice of inputs. These include an HDBaseT connection** and Wi Fi, plus a Network Multi-Projection (NMPJ) function for easy wired or wireless projection over a LAN. There are HDMI and DVI terminals for digital input, while firmware can be easily updated via the USB port, which also allows PC free presentation directly from USB flash drives. The built in RJ-45 network port enables remote monitoring and control and supports the 'Crestron Connected'™ standard.
Energy efficient ECO mode delivers a 5000 hour lamp life and also reduces fan noise to 30 dBA for a quieter environment. Maintenance is simple with quick and easy lamp and air filter replacement in the installed environment. The WUX500 includes Canon’s Three Year Enhanced Warranty Loan Service that provides a next-day*** loan projector while your original device is being serviced or repaired.
A dedicated medical version is also available that offers DICOM 14 compliance.

The WUX5800 is a high-brightness (5,800 lumens) LCOS projector (lamp model) with a new centred lens mount that fits six interchangeable genuine Canon lenses. The new AISYS 4.2 optical system has been improved with a slimmer optical component which results in a more compact form factor with high brightness.
The new centred lens mount design makes installation of the projectors easier at the central part of the ceiling, without affecting the aesthetics of rooms. In addition, the spigot-type lens mount makes it easy to attach and detach lenses with one touch without the use of any tools.
With its compact width of 480mm, overlapped multi-projections can be easily achieved by arranging and stacking a number of projectors.
With its low-noise operation at 27 dB (in Silent-2 mode), the projector is suitable for installation environments that demand minimal noise, such as schools, hospitals and art galleries.
The WUX6700 is a high-brightness (6,700 lumens) LCOS projector (lamp model) with a new centred lens mount that fits six interchangeable genuine Canon lenses. The new AISYS 4.2 optical system has been improved with a slimmer optical component which results in a more compact form factor with high brightness.
